Meet Ginna Sanchez: Your Local Yoga Instructor in the DFW Area
Hola, and welcome!
My name is Ginna Sanchez, and I’m thrilled to introduce myself as a yoga instructor based in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area. I specialize in Hatha Yoga and Therapeutic Massage, offering a holistic approach to wellness and relaxation. With over 700 hours of classroom teaching experience at Academia Chilena de Yoga in Santiago, Chile, I am deeply passionate about helping others find balance, peace, and strength both on and off the mat.
A Journey That Began in Santiago, Chile
I was born and raised in Santiago, Chile, where my love for yoga first began. Growing up in such a vibrant, culture-rich city, I was drawn to the practice of yoga not only for its physical benefits but also for its ability to calm the mind and soothe the soul. My training at Academia Chilena de Yoga in Santiago helped me dive deeper into the spiritual and therapeutic aspects of yoga. The school’s teachings shaped my approach and gave me the tools to share this ancient practice with others in a meaningful way.
A New Chapter in the DFW Area
In 2020, after the global COVID crisis changed life as we knew it, I made the bold decision to move to the Dallas-Fort Worth area. It was a time of transition for many, and I found myself seeking new beginnings. Since arriving here, I have truly fallen in love with the area. The DFW region has so much to offer—diverse communities, beautiful parks, and a strong sense of connection among locals. It’s been a rewarding experience to explore all that this beautiful part of the country has to offer, and I feel so fortunate to now call it home.
Bringing Yoga to the DFW Community
As I settled into the area, I knew that I wanted to share the practices I had learned in Chile with the wonderful people I was meeting here. Hatha Yoga, with its emphasis on breathwork, alignment, and mindful movement, is my specialty. It’s a practice that welcomes practitioners of all levels, offering a steady and accessible way to build strength, flexibility, and mental clarity. My background in Therapeutic Massage also allows me to bring a deeper layer of relaxation and healing to my sessions, tailoring each practice to meet the individual needs of my students.
Whether you’re new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, my goal is to create a space where you can connect to your body, reduce stress, and cultivate a sense of calm. Yoga has been an incredible source of healing for me, and I hope to pass along those same benefits to others.
